i was just wondering with the whole supplement thing if no name work just as good. how cheap can you go

There's not a lot of info from you to answer your question. For the most part, if your diet is super you don't need to supplement other that a multi-vitamin. That's the easy but not guite complete answer. :)

usually the more expensive supplements just have more things added in, e.g. amino acids, sugars, carbs......i almost always go cheap. with creatine i add my own sugar and take it with a complex carb to help absorbtion, and i also take glutamine and other amino acids seperate to help put protein to its full use. i hope this answers your question

My dr explained to me that most people who eat properly dont need supplements,but if they do,they should be tailored to that persons needs...I did a blood test and found that I was low in iron,B vitamins,and so the dr put me on those supplements only..
If you check the label of a cheap generic brand multi vit and a more expensive one,you will see that the amount of each vitamin/mineral will match almost exactly..so in most cases you are just paying for the name of the expensive supplement..
The only other supplement I take is flax oil
