I LOVE ME SOME FRUIT.....
But...can one eat too much? I know about the natural sugar in fruit...but was wondering if it just depends on what time of day you eat it. Also..what fruits have "less" sugar....apples? Grapes?
I could eat fruit all day every day....
Thanks!

I've been cutting for the last 4 weeks but I still eat around 2 fruits daily.
I guess it's all a question about total daily calorie intake.
Fruits with less sugar? Go for the strawberries or grapefruit.

Some fruits are better than others, glycemically speaking and some fruits have a better thermogenic response. Strawberries, peaches, blueberries, apples, and grapefruits for example can elicit a thermogenic effect, actually causing your body to burn more fat than from a caloric deficit alone. Some that are inferior are bananas(very calorie dense), dried fruits, Raisins, Watermelon.

I think it is important to eat some protein with your fruit. So if you have an apple, add a tbsp of peanut butter, or mix 5 strawberries or 1/2 cup raspberries with your protein shake, or have a handful of almonds or something with the fruit. This will mute the insulin response from the fructose.
