Hey guys i workout upperbody 2 days a week and, play basketball (usually 5on 5) at least 4 times a week and i do plyometrics 3 times a week? Do you guys think that playing basketball and doing plyometrics is enough cardio? It seems to be working because i have lost about 8-10 pounds in three weeks... just want to see what some of you think thanks

If it is working... yes.
As long as you are getting your heart rate up continuously for at least twenty minutes, 3 times a week you are doing your hart good.
It sounds like you have found a routine you enjoy and that it is working. You may have to switch it up if you find yourself at a plateau.

Like cardio should be done??? Actually the way you are doing it is great. It is usually best to separate the 2 (weightlifting and cardio) if you can unless you are very overweight. Don't forget to hit those abs with some resistance if you want to see a six pack. Just doing crunches will not really develop the abs to the point where they look like I am sure you want them to look.:dumbbell:

I'm not sure i just always heard that cardio is best when done after you lift weights...thanks a lot for both of your help bb1 and asimmer... bb1 by the way what are some good ab excercises that have resistance in them.... i'm already on week 5 of my ft program so i can't sign up for the ab program... although i thought i already did... ANYWAYS, if you could post some good ab training with and/or without resistance it'd be greatly appreciated... thanks again!

You can hold a dumbbell or med ball for any type of exercise to add resistance, place it on your upper chest to make your torso heavier for your abs to pull into the crunch position. Or use a cable machine - look it up in the exercise encyclopedia here, they have picture of all the exercises.
-------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight.
