Hey. I was wondering if this was a good way to get in shape and stay in shape. I'm already in good shape but here it is. 5 days a week I do 10 curls with 70 lbs, 25 jumping jacks, 20 crunches, and 20 pushups. I don't always sweat, and I do it for roughly an hour. Does that sound good?

Don't work your arms everyday that is bad for them. You should only have to work your arms once every three days. Your stomach, however is a different story. You can work it everyday if you wish.

For aerobics , but not for body building or anything else.

sounds good enough...remember though that with ab training it doesn't matter much how many reps but how hard you intense your abs with each rep...you also need to atack the lower abs ..upper ones and the obliques...so that's three exercises.try to vary things around from time to time 2 no matter what your goal is.

Are you doing this 5 days in a row? If so, you may want to change up to every other day, to give you muscles and body the time in needs to rebuild and repair (the curl and push-ups) also, it is recommended that one should do more than one weight training exercise. Try rounding that our with a bench press (push ups are fine if you don't have the bench) and bent over row and shrugs. Working just the biceps isn't good, because you need shoulder stregth, chest strength and back strength as well.
The abdominal muscles are different because they can be worked out everyday and don't suffer from not having a days rest.
Doing a cardio (like jumping jacks) is suppose to make you sweat, increase heart rate and get your blood to flowing. Try adding more jumping jacks or even jog in place before you do the rest of your work out.
Hope this helps some. Any more questions, please feel free to e-mail me at Dvdgstwrt@aol.com Cheers
