Okay so I have found my weakness...oatmeal. I just can't help it, I love it for breakfast each and every day. The only thing is, as I keep increasing my cardio everyday (1 1/2 to 2 hours usually) I just want more in the morning. It's at 1 cup dry oats (homemade, not packaged with tons of sugar, but I do add about 3 tsp splenda) and 2 cups water. Is this an overload of carbs for the morning? I've cut it down, but I still just can't find anything that will keep me full like it does. Any help would be much appreciated, or just good breakfast tips in general? Thanks in advance!

Wow. We know nothing about you except that you do too much cardio.
I am sure we can tell you how much oatmeal to eat.
Let me do some calculating and get right back to you with a precise, detailed answer about that.

I keep trying to update my profile, but it keeps showing up null for some reason.
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 137
Age: Under 25
The reason for all the cardio is because of track season, lots of intervals and eliptical workouts!

Being an endurance athlete, your propensity for carbs(need for) will be higher than the typical strength athlete. However, it is really impossible for us to tell you how much oatmeal to eat, as Amy so nicely put it. Are you reaching your goals? i.e...(are you gaining or losing weight?) Is this result the result you want? Body composition changes come from proper exercise to meet your needs, but mainly from diet to meet your needs to compliment the exercise you are doing, thus create a caloric surplus(for gaining) or caloric deficit(for losing).
