I am female and 40 years. Weigh 52 kg's. Not too interested in losing any more weight but want to tone and gain some muscle. Been to see a trainer recently and he's given me the ffg routine to follow for the past 2 weeks. I have seen results but I am also following a diet plan. He says that I should do just these 4 exercises about 5 times a week, nothing else. Just want some advice as to whether the workout is okay. We have upped the weights since I started so I am at :
1. squats 5 sets of 10 reps(12kg's)
2. shoulder press 4 sets of 8 reps(2x 6kg's)
3. DB rows 4 sets of 8(15kg's)
4. stiff legged deadlifts 4 sets of 10(40 kg's)
Any advice as to whether this is sufficient or too much or just right?
