My husband has been working out for about three weeks now with his ft program. He recently went out and bought a whey product from GNC. He was a little concerned that it was going to make him build mass. He is the type of person who bulks up really quick and he is not looking for that. He is looking for a more toned sleeker look. My question is do you think that this will work for him. He needs to loose a few pounds as well so he is adding in his cardio along with the workout. The help is greatly appreciated.
Whey protein itself will not bulk you up. Whey protein is like any other protein, it builds and repairs muscle tissue. So if your husband does high reps, low weight, he will become toner. I would really recommend he takes the protein, it really helps in reaching your daily protein needs (AT LEAST 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight). Good luck. -sweeny
