The grass is always greener I guess. I'd love to see snow, or 62 degrees, or anything in-between. 86 today, 89 tomorrow. I'll never forget when I was in the Air Force stationed in Fairbanks, AK (Eielson AFB, actually about 20 miles south of Fairbanks).
People would complain about the winter and how it was 72 degrees below zero, and always dark. But then summer came, and it gets in the 90's, and it's light all day (at about 2:00 am in the peak of summer, the sun just barely dips below the horizon, then back up--it never truly gets dark on those days, just a little dim) and they'd complain about too much light and too hot! I'm as guilty as the rest, but I guess I agree with Vic--grass is always greener. These days, I truly prefer heat to cold. Hope your warm heart melts the cold snow, Mr. Jdelts, and now that the Ides of March Passeth, so too may the icy winds of winters gone. -------------- --There are no versions of the truth.-- Jeff Goldblum, Jurassic Park II |

The Good Lord above has a cruel sense of humor i think (jk). Two nights ago, since there had been sufficiently enough warm weather consistently, i put away every long sleeved shirt in my closet and just kept my short sleeved ones and a coat. Now, the very next day i wake up to my roommate telling me it was going to snow damned hard. *cries* i just want shorts weather again.

Michigan also.. washed my car on Saturday. Usually that means rain, not 4 inches of snow :(
Now what would be nice is for the weather to turn again, quickly, so I don't have to shovel it all. -------------- : ] ~ Danielle Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action. ~Benjamin Disraeli |

Ya, well in ONtario Canada, we are still getting the white stuff (snow)and the temperatures are still around freezing and below. Yet by Saturday it should be about 40. Winter does not want to leave. Must be making up for the good whether had up until December when temperatures where still around 60 degrees. LET IT END>
