(1) Week 1 of new diet (sorry Mutt) “Nutritional Reorganization Plan” is done. Tough week.
(2) Scale at the gym is broken – It showed that I lost 31 pounds in 7 days.
(3) Walked into work today with a sense of accomplishment (1 week down, 25 to go).
(4) Colleague brought in 10 million pounds of homemade biscotti – yes, biscotti, the Italian Kryptonite!
(5) Feeling weak guys, feeling very weak... Must... stay... away....

SEVEN POUNDS!!??
Damn! Package that diet and sell it on an infomercial - make millions!
I'd send ya a Lois Lane your way, but it'd be easier to just say "Stick with it, Dave; you will succeed!"

Being from an Italian background and growing up eating some of the best pasta dishes around, I can feel your pain in resisting the biscotti. I know what that bleached white flour in the pasta can do to me, but I still can't pass up a well-made lasagne. It's a good thing the Pope is in Italy, cuz Satan has damned my people with the sweet temptation of ravioli and marinara. uh oh...getting hungry now.

Thanks folks.
It's almost quitting time, and the cookies from hell still sit less than 10 feet from my desk! Mzakal, you're right about the pasta dishes. My better half is 100% Italian, and man can she cook! The kids aren't big lasagna fans, so she only makes that "for me" occasionally. If she decides to make lasagna for me in the next 6 months, though, I think I'll serve up divorce papers!
I've found that the first week or so is always the most difficult. Okay. Enough ranting. Time for another "clean" meal. Much respect to you serious bodybuilding folks who eat clean like this as a 24x7 lifestyle.

I like biscottis though............... (o;
Now stop thinking about those buggers or you'll just get an insulin spike only from the thought (and dribbling!)

Success! Hour at a time, but success nonetheless. They're still here this morning and I don't even want them. Excellent workout today, too. Maybe they're related (good workout = no cravings)...
Low glycemic carbs all the way! No insulin spikes here, Philia. I BELIEVE!lol
Thanks, again folks.
