I don't get into the drama of resolutions. I do look at myself overall the first of the year, jot down some notes, and at the end of the year dig them out and look at them. I try to make a concious effort to improve my interactive methods with other folks, try to treat them more as I would like to be treated, say hello for instance. Be more pleasant. This in itself makes me better.

After all that has been going on these last few days around the world, I have come to resolute that I shouldn't take things for granted!

I don't see the harm in new years resolutions if they help people to set goals.
I have done a fair bit of goal setting recently already, so adding any at new year was unnecessary.
short term goal - leg press over 100kg, get leaner
medium term - get golf handicap under 20
long term - live somewhere sunnier

Ok...Well over the past year My hubby and I spend a lot of time on the road...And...boo...I've put on some weight again.....Now I haven't totally regressed or anything but seeing my new fitness photos OMG I am ashamed of myself. I had said I would never gain a pile of weight back but I did....BUT I KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO FIX IT! :)
So My New Years Resolution is to get back into my 5/6s by Oct...we have a big cruise already booked. Actually I would like for the 1st time ever to wear a bikini.
Day 1 a complete success and day 2 so far so good :)
