Just wondering if anyone else is finding this: My thighs and butt are lean but muscular, and my waist is small. That appears to mean that jeans won't fit me. I have to choose whether I want either the waist or butt to fit. Does anyone know of a brand that makes jeans to fit more muscular women? Thanks.---------------------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

In short, none that I have tried. But in the Victoria's Secret catalogue they have a pair of jeans called the Curve that's supposed to eliminate that problem. |

Just buy jeans with stretch in them. I bought a pair of Silver jeans, and Parasuco jeans recently. Both are stretch denim, and they fit well. Regular jeans are not meant for women with any degree of "hour glass" in their bodies. |

Actually, my main problem is that the only curve in my lower body it my butt. No hips whatsover, and most women's jeans have room for hips.-------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

Yes I agree, it's not the hips...... (the fashion makers got that figured out!!) It's for women with strong muscular legs...... Not even talking about fat here.....Stretch, I told you lol or only nice cute dresses from now on!! (o; -------------- - Nina :o) Les Victoires éternelles sont celles du coeur. |

Canadian winters aren't really ideal for wearing dresses! I'd freeze my poor butt off. The one thing I've found that's okay is teen boys jeans, but now it's hard to find them small enough. Oh well, maybe I'll have to go shopping for spandex! -------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |

Try getting a pair of the lower waist jeans. They work for me. |

Maybe you should wear clothes made by J Lo. Her clothers are specifically made for women with curves or at least big butts. |

I have these wonderful fleece pants. They would still fit me if I gained another person! I may adopt them as a more frequent part of my wardrobe- they fit perfectly and always will, even on 'fat' days. Wow, women with my problem too. What a relief. I have the same problem. Tight on the legs, loose on the waist, and my waist even that small. I have to try on tons before I find a good fit. Well, low-waisted jeans work well for me too. They fall below the waist where I have a little more width to hold the jeans up. Pretty much any brand will do. I have it all..Levi's, Express, Abercrombie, MUDD, etc. Having stretch helps too. Just find tops that are long enough or underwear that are low enough so as not to give a show when you sit or squat. Belts help too. |
