Today at the lake someone drowned, the lake i swim at everyday. Guy was out riding on a Jetski with his cousins wife. Somehow him and the jetski went under and never came back up.

Me and a few other people hopped onto a boat and went out there to dive for him. No luck, 30 minutes later ambulance and divers arrived. along with some people with boats to drag the waters for him.

Happened around 4-5 and its 9 14 pm and they still havn't found him, its a pretty small area. I have no IDEA how he could of drowned. Why wouldn't the jetski float back up? All i can think of is he was drunk, hit his head or somethen. cause the water has no current or anything that i found to get caught on.

pretty scary day, I feel sorry for the family and wish we had been able to find the guy.

9 16 the electricity went out, about 2 hours later i went outside to walk. I heard sirens and some people in a truck pulled over and asked me about the drowning, told them what happened and they asked if i had heard the sirens.

Infront of the subdivision where i live, a semi truck ran into a car that was turning into here. The car was demolished, passenger died and driver was life flighted.. they don't think he'll live.

We found out the passenger was the wife of the man that drowned today, driver had went and gotten her.

Tragic day.

It is difficult make sense of things like this.

I had in some ways a similar experience and found talking about it helped, but it took a while to get my head round the whole thing, just make sure not to bottle things up.

take care.
