i'm new here too, but have done some research myself, and i think that the plan you're referring to makes sense because it's focus is on quickly building the largest muscles in the body, thereby increasing basal metabolism, etc. however, i'm not sure if you'd be burning enough calories per week to lose weight with just that workout alone. i read from your previous post that you are also doing cardio...i'd continue to do that, and add the weights. the following is probably the best compound exercise i've ever tried...ask for help on your form if you haven't done it before: http://www.dolfzine.com/page476.htm
