Ok here goes.... I just started my 12 wk ab program over.. i recently had a relative pass away and with everything that was going on with that I ended up gettin out of of my routine for like 2 wks, but my question is... When i first started the routine the last time.. I wasnt able to do all the reps it said to do.. It just hurt to bad... out of 52 total I could only do like 30 the first wk and the second wk i was able to do maybe 35 and that was only for some of them.... the dips behind back I could only do like 20 if i was lucky... So my question is inorder to get the results of the 12 wk ab program (1) do i have to do all of the reps and (2) if so how can i work up to the 52 reps that I am suppose to be doing??? Any help would be really appericated thanks...

Are you resting between sets? 52 reps is kind of high for 1 set. decrease the weight on the exercises to be able to complete the set.
Good Luck and stay with it.

You should be resting 20-30 seconds between each set.
I agree with carivan. 52 reps does seem high for one set!

its not one set its a total 4 sets.... 15, 15, 12, 10 I just dont seem to be able to do all of those maybe the 2 sets of 15 but I can never seem to do them all.... the way it is now i do 15 of each exercise and then the other 15 of each and so on and so fourth, but by the time i get to the set of 12 i cant seem to make it all the way thro them.....

Do all sets of the same exercise with rest in between. The rest should be long enough for you to be able to do the next set. If you can't complete the next set even ith 30-60sec rest, then you must lower the weight of the first set. This is a warm up set for that exercise.
Hope this helps.
