I need to do low carbs in order to lose weight. Any words you can give me for motivation will be greatly appreciated. I want to feel and look good again. I need to lose 45 pounds.

You need to eat heahtily and exercise to lose weight, not necessarily low carb - just the right carbs.

Like asimmer said eat healthy, Protein good carbs and good fats.
Resistance training and cardio will give you a nice sculptured look.

Hi,
I need to loose weight very seriously. I'm very young and I weighing 280 lbs. I'm only 5'3 tall. What do I need to do? Starve?

No, definitely not starving. That is the absolute wrong way to go. Eat foods high in protein and low in fat. Lower your carb intake and most important add weight training. This will help to put muscle on to increase your metablism so that it can burn the fat. Do not get discouraged however if you gain a few pounds in the first couple of weeks. Sign up for a ft program and an idea is to join the Mutt challenge(search the posts). Good motivation and competition. It is of course free of charge and lots of support here will get you through.
