I'm new here today.. I need to lose about 70lbs., which to me is somewhat overwhelming but I'm ready for the challenges ahead.. Glad to be here. Cynann

Welcome Cynann. When you look at the big goal sometimes it IS overwhelming. Try aiming for 10 lbs at a time. Make that your goal, then when you reach it, make a new one. You may find that as your put on muscle and lose fat tht you like your body before you actually lose all 70 lbs. Be sure to use all the resources here at FT to get you started on mapping out your exercise and nutrition plan. Good luck.
