Hello, my name is Amanda. Since I've moved in with my boyfriend and his family, I've been eating a lot less and more unhealthy then before. Mostly, I only eat once a day and it usually consists of fast food or ramen noodles. So, I've decided to start buying food for myself, before it gets out of control.

I was wondering the type of foods I should be eating. I looked some stuff up and made a list, I'm just making sure that all of these foods are okay to eat. This is exactly what I wrote down...

- Corn
- Carrots
- Tomatoes (and baby tomatoes.)
- Oranges
- Apples
- Grapefruit
- Banana
- Peas
- Lettuce
- Broccoli
- Rice (whole grain.)
- Fat-free (skim) or 1% milk.
- Wild Salmon
- Crispbreads
- Cucumbers
- Peaches
- Chicken Breast
- Fish Fillet
- Turkey
- Walnuts
- Peacans
- Cheerios
- Golden Grahams
- Raisin Bran
- Special K brand.
- Pretzels
- Whole Wheat bread/buns.
- Yogurt
- Perhaps organic cheese?
- Pear
- Whole wheat speghetti
- Oatmeal
- Brussle sprouts

Is there anything I should add or remove from this list? I know that pretzels aren't ideal, but I wrote them done in case I was even in the mood for something salty, since all they buy is potato chips, ramen noodles, and soda pop most of the time. Thanks.

Thats a wonderful list! Make sure that you eat at least 4-5 times during the day(3 meals and 2 snacks), and drink lots of water. Eating only once per day is wreaking havoc on your metabolism. You need to slowly acclimate your body to steady supply of quality calories throughout the day.
