Hello All,

I've been doing my workout for a while now. I did great on here and lost like 8 pounds after doing it religiously for like 6 or 7 weeks. Then I got lazy with Thanksgiving and Christmas and all and quit doing it. Now I'm getting back on track and of course with my pounds back on lol ... oh well I'll take them off.

Anyway, I have been noticing that my right leg has been hurting a bit. Kind of like a strained muscle or something. I'm not sure what's going on but at night when I lay down to sleep it has been hurting. It's on my right knee but it's on the side ... not the knee cap or anything it's like in the bend of my knee on the outside. Not sure exactly how to explain it. hehe

It's hurting almost every night, some nights it doesn't but almost every night wether I work out or not.

Any suggestions on what to do?

I found a picture of a knee and what's hurting is on the right side of the picture and it's the gray part between the upper and lower bones. Ok, so I'm an idiot hehehe. But, help me! It hurts!

Should I put ice on it, or a heating pad, or work out a different way, what causes that to hurt? Any answers would help great. :)

If its a joint problem try Glucosamine. It can help with swollen joints.

- Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.
- If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks.

If it is persistent, I would stay off of it for awhile and see if it gets better. Ibuprofen might help if it's a muscle. If not you may want to have someone look at it. What type of cardio do you do?

I do walking and bike riding. Walking outside and on the treadmill and bike riding on a mountain bike I have. It seemed to be doing it the worst when I was walking on the treadmill every day thouhg. Maybe I'm just walking too fast or something? It doesn't hurt as bad when I walk or bike ride.

I would go have someone look at it but I dont' have insurance right now. hehe

if its on the inside of your right knee, and you aren't sure what you did...chances are its tendinitus... this happens when you overwork joints, especially common in the knees because you use your legs all the time. i have also had problems with this in the past... especially due to the fact that i love basketball so much and couldn't even stay away from it after a hard leg day followed by cardio. you can do a lot just by icing it at night for 20 minutes or so every hour, and wearing a FLUK strap below the joint... research them to find out where to get one but any sporting place will probably have one. don't become dependent on the strap, when it stops hurting take it off and don't wear it until you have problems again.
