howdy everyone,
On my last trip to GNC to refill my protein shake, I got into a conversation with the supervisor there on other supplements which might help me gain lean muscle mass, other than creatine and anything ananabolic. She suggested NO2, but I heard that was junk from other people as well as my doctor, so she suggested me taking the pill form L-ARGININE that included L-Ornithine as a "generic type NO2." It was much cheaper , so I thought I should give it a try, I haven't opened it yet.
But What do yall think??????? What does this amino acid supplement actually do? Will it work like NO2? Will it have the same claimed results?, since it really doesnt say what it does on the bottle, just that bodybuilders, powerflifters, and athletes take this because it helps remove ammonia from the body and in the production of creatine, What does this mean?????????

This combo has been around a long time. It has been sold in the past as a growth hormone enhancer.
L arginine is a vasolidator, used in many "male potency" type formulas for the obvious reason stated. For a decent pump from it, the doseage is fairly high and pre workout is probably best. Again, this is nothing new(these 2 amino acids combined), just remarketed. I sincerely doubt much "gains" from it. :)

actually after I posted this , I went and did a search on ask.com and found that there is a research website dedicated to this product and and several other websites and the results sound quite promising and maybe even weird for someone my age.
I am only 18 and I read that this is a natural alternative to Viagra! and that body builders who took this just before bed woke up with erections so strong they had to bend over to take a leak in the morning! Does this mean I'm going to be walking around with a stiff all day, oh god I hope not.
Actually reading every thing they had to say about this supplement, made it sound like one of the best ones I've heard about.
I don't know I guess I'll just try it for a month and see. Since it is relatively cheap.

In the case of an erection lasting longer than 4 hrs., seek medical attention! :)

OH GOD! I hope not.

This is not a "new" supplement. As I mentioned in my original post, it has been around for a long time. Sometimes when folks run out of things, they cleverly bring something back "new and improved" or something that is very old and many younger folks do not know about it. It didn't do much in the old days, don't see it doing much more now. The doseage is fairly unreasonable for the effects it perceives to exhibit.

What dosage would that be, 3 grams a day really doesnt seem like that much at all.

I think in some of the expirements for bodybuilding strength gains they were giving participants 5-10 grams per day; it's a large dose. You need to up your water intake too--it'll suck you dryer than creatine, and try to make sure that the back of the bottle shows the Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate which is reportedly the newer and more effective from of the revised supplement... *Just like you have to look for camelia sinenses and catechins in good green tea* Enjoy.
