When I am doing my lat pull downs, I can't ever get a burn in the muscles. I feel like I'm using enough weight, enough to where I can't quite get it all the way to my chest on the last couple or reps on the 4th set.
Should I lean back more, forward more?
I'm having the same problem on the seated rows.
I really need to deveope my lats, but I don't think I'm getting anywhere.
One is lighten the weight. Another is to do bent over barbell rows instead as this is a great mass builder for lats. After doing them I would add the lat pull down. Leanback about 45 degrees and focus on the pull using the lats instead of your arms. When you use too heavy of a weight with this lift you use other bodyparts. My back routine goes liek this, chins (i use a assisted machine), bent rows, deadlifts, then lat pull downs.
