I was just wondering if anyone out there knew of any good supplements that would keep me from getting so sore after working out so hard on my leg days. This past week I lift 60 to 70 % of my max on Squats and Calve raises and I am definetly feeling it... My Calves are the sorest, I can barely walk now.. Haha.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Potassium is supposed to help with muscle soreness. Toss a banana or some strawberries into your post workout shake.
A buddy of mine swears by Cytomax - a powder you can add to juice or water. He's a pretty crazy cyclist and drinks it after long rides - course that might be more for lactic acid build up...Hmmm...Just some ideas.

And, of course, make sure you properly cool down & stretch! :)

Yeah, I just did the leg workout, and my calves were killing me for 3 days straight. I walked on my tip-toes for 2 days. It would take about ten minutes for my calf muscles to loosen up, every time I stood up.
