How long should a workout be, without cardio... I'm reading a lot of posts saying one body part per day, once per week... for instance, chest Monday, legs Tuesday... etc... wouldn't these workouts be short?
Thanks,
Tim

Don't forget stretching in between and after. It normally takes me between 45 mins. to 1 hour, 10 mins. for everything, including stretching and rest in between sets (especially when going heavy).
You'll be surprised as to how fast time flies when you are working out. Good luck...

I've decided to not only vary my cardio and weight-lifting routines, but to vary the length of the workout as well. So far, that means 45 mins to 2 hours.
Everyday that goes by, I believe more and more in the "adaptation," principle. Throw incessant curveballs at your body if you want it to grow fast ;)
