Hi, I'm a male, 6'1", 165 lbs. (used to be 178 before I found this site about 4 months ago), and eat 5-6 meals a day.
Breakfast: egg whites with salsa and non-fat yogurt.
Mini Meal: Jerky
Lunch: Chicken Salad
Mini Meal: Turkey deli meat and steamed spinach
Post workout: Protein shake
2 hours before bed: Egg whites or deli meat
However when I add these up on most days i'm only getting in about 1300 calories and I drink water and tea like crazy. Plus I'm using the workout plan that I got from this site, plus 20 min. of abs everyday, plus at least 30 min of cardio (heart rate= around 135) everyday. I'm seeing results, but I still have fat on me that i want to lose (mostly in my thighs and mid section). I thought with my lower caloric intake I'd be loosing more fat since my diet is extremely low in fat and carbs and extremely high in protein. And also that this high protein diet would spur muscle toning.
Am I doing anything wrong? I never find myself hungry throughout the day and if i ever do I just grab some deli meat out of the fridge and snack on a few pieces. Any suggestions?

You need to eat more. I am surprised that you can do anything let alone work out with only 1300 calories per day. Your body is most likely in starvation mode and is clinging onto your remaining fat. If you eat more you will be able to add muscle to your frame. Adding lean muscle will help burn off fat. Why are you doing abs and cardio every day? Also, what type of ab work are you doing that takes 20 min? You may want to read up in the diet forum.

At 6'1" 165 you are not fat. I am about 5'10" 160 and feel scrawny. You need to eat more flat out, put on some more muscle. At 6'1" you don't weight enough to have much fat on you.

Wow. I eat almost 1300 calories for breakfast. Im at about 4000 calories a day and Im finding it way difficult to gain weight.
You definitely need to upgrade the caloric intake. Big time. By at LEAST 2000 calories (if not, more).

I maintain at 1800 calories, and I'm a 5'4 116lb female! What you are eating is good - but you should eat at least twice as much as that!
