Is letuce a good source for anything? I know it has to have something, vitamins and all, bt does eating it really matter? I am loving it and need to love it more. :)

Iceburg is not so great, but Romaine has more vitamins and minerals.
100grms is around 18 calories contains 94grams of water.

A little water and a little fiber. Use spinach leaves.
Go by the color, the darker the lettuce(or about any veggie for that matter) in color, the better.

My lettuce is organic. Spinach....I can replace it for my sandwiches...but I'm just getting into this lettuce thing, so we'll see...

For some reason, I have not come across spinach here. Also because I don't go shopping much. My lettuce is butterhead, also a good one, I read.
What about tomato's? I enjoy them too. Any substitute for them? I don't think there is...
