Hello everyone, i just joined today been trying to find a great site and i think i have found it...
I am kinda in a little bind i use to be in great shape about 4 years ago go to the gym 4 days a week at one point 6 days, anyhow i have put on the pounds i am around 240 now got a little of a stomach i want gone, i wanna trim down etc, i ahve a small recreation gym her ewher ei live <little town> so not much here , but i do have a exercise bike at home so i rather do this fist before i hit the gym ....
I have troubles getting away form the junk food expecially when everyone that is here in my house eats it and it laying around and expecially pop, i was going to diet but i not sure how good that is for you ...
I wanna start with working on my food intake watch my fats etc but i , keep having troubles on what is good and whats not good, how much is enough .. i need to drop the pounds in a reasonable fast rate but dont wanna gain it back and if i do it will be from working in the gym, any help would be great would love to hear form you guys and hear what you have to say.... i really wanna make a change and make it Now...

Welcome to FT!
Start by reading the post in the nutrition board titled "Grocery list for a bodybuilder." All the foods on that list are considered clean. That means that when you choose only from the list, you are eating clean. You should eat often to keep your metabolism high, every 2-3 hours.
Read all you can because everything you need to know is here and we are here to support you.

I am doing South Beach and it seems to work out really good, I can eat alot of snacks during the day, healthy of course and it keeps me from eating the junk food. I also ride my exercise bike for about 1/2 hour and then do the weight training for beginners. Good Luck
