Have begun taking whey. I am considering other supplements. Is there a good site that lays out the major types and their functions.
I am generally thin so cut comes fairly natural. My desire is to bulk or gain mass all over. Currently 5'10" and 165lbs. I don't know what is realistic and am not expecting miracles since it has always been difficult for me to put on weight. The whey "seems" to be having a positive effect. I am sure that I wasn't getting adequate protein in my diet.
I have now restarted deadlifts and started squats a bit ago. I am doing fewer reps and more weight on all exercises but am trying not to sacrifice form for weight.
Suggestions appreciated regarding workout and supplements.
Also, how long will it take to see how much affect the whey is making? I don't want to start several things at once and not be able to tell which supplement is giving the results.

If you are trying to gain, you have to eat. Make sure the calories are from healthy sources,. You want at least 4 sets, the first being a warm up10-12 reps, then doing 3 more sets with less reps and increasing weight.
A set might look like this: 10-8-6-6 or 12-8-6-4.

I've been eating alot the last few days. I'm trying to stay with healthy foods. I haven't gotten to the point that I'm counting the calories etc. I feel stuffed all the time. Is this natural? I've been trying to eat smaller portions more often and have protein shakes in between.

Yes its natural just give your body a few days to realize what's going on. After a week or so you will find yourself getting hungry every few hours thats your metabolism picking up.

Keith and Ivan, Thanks for the replies.
The FT site gave me the following to gain mass. Does it seem reasonable?
Protein - 248 g
Carbohydrates - 578 g
Fats - 115 g
Total Calories - 4125
