I have read a pass article quoting that "you can loose fat and gain muscle but it is very tricky" They also mentioned that in order to do this, you must do weightlifting, decrease your calorie intake by 200-250 and do LITTLE form of cardio....they no more then 30 minutes twice a week.
No what I dont get is this: In order to burn fat, you have to up your cardio alot and eat healthier. But the article says, when you up your cardio level, that burns off the carbs and other supplys it needs to influence muscle growth. But then again, alot of people say today that a part of loosing fat and gaining lean muscle mass is a good hunk of cardio in your plan.
.....what's the deal here? Should I do more cardio and having the risks of making my muscle growth not as efficent or should I lower my cardio to twice a week no more then 30 minutes? (remember, I am still lifting weights)
Or, if in anyways, should I do like a 3 months plan of loosing fat, and then a couple months just focusing on muscle growth, and if that, which one should I try first?
any help would be great!
