ok i weigh 188 pounds and im 5'6. i do 50 min of cardio in the morning before i eat anything and lift weights every day. i am looking to loose around 30 more pounds as i have already lost about 20 in the past 3 months as fast as possible so i was wondering if in the morning i should do weights or cardio first and whether it will be more beneficial to eat some egg whites or have a protein shake before or after my hard work out, or if at all? also will protein drinks make me gain weight which is something i dont want?

Well with the info you provided I would say do your workouts in the morning after you've had some egg whites and maybe some oats to help fuel it. Do your cardio in the evening. Have a protein shake post workout with some simple sugars, drink 1/2 immediately, then sip the other 1/2 over about 30 minutes. I would also suggest having a meal about an hour after your workout with a decent protein source and complex carb. Make up another protein shake before your cardio and drink about 1/3 of it right before and the other 2/3 during. The protein shakes will not make you gain weight as long as you stay under your maintenance calories.

One more thing. I would also give yourself at least one full day off a week from everything to rest.

It's very good that you do your cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, i hear that from most professional trainers. As far as everything else i agree with mojo their. Good luck!
