Iam 16, and i weight about 281Lbs (128kilos) - and iam 6ft 3in. I've been trained when i was younger, for waterpolo and judo so I have a huge back, and I think it effects a bit the weight obviously. but I have a tummy now, I got lazy on the computer and got fatter.. - now, I did 2weeks on diet (Salads, 2 Bread Slices max a day, and water), and did 1hr everymorning treadmill, got exhuasted, but didn't loose ANY weight at all.
Now I got discouraged by the scale. I dont know what to do more to loose weight, this is unbelievable. |

Oops forget to say this - should I maybe move the 45mins/1hr workout further on then in the morning? -
This is my usual things; 7:30am <wakeup,come on computer to talk to gf till abt 9.> 9:00am->10:30am <1hr workout + wash.> 10:30am->11:00am <PC relax a bit after workout> 11:00am->11:30am/12:00pm <TV> 12:00pm/12:30pm->1:00pm <Salad&Water> 1:00pm -> 8pm <Go out, watch tv, computer, wash or whats so ever. and eat maybe an apple, and a banana there and now beetween time.> 8:30pm <Salad&water> 9:00pm <Wash> 10:00pm->12:00pm <TV,Comp then sleep>. Thats all I do. maybe if I make the workout after I eat at 12:30 would that be better? :s |

Are you onlly eating salad and water? Where is your protein? Why do you start eating so late in the day when you get up at 730? You are starving yourself according to what I see there....Be specific on what you are eating and what your workout looks like. you seem to sit in front of the tv/computer a lot throughout the day....why not get out more and burn some calories going for a walk or something...

mysticgraces: I work on computers, though iam 16 I been on them from when I was 9/10 so I got a bit addicted; I just finished my A+ Technician course, now I'm going to start going to another IT School later on this summer. so at the moment; no school.
Lonegirl; I go out every now and then; but I also miss my friends + gf. - last week I did about 2hrs walk a day, + the 1hr workout because I have a 1 hr walk to my friends house, and 1hr back obviously. (Still didn't loose weight). |

oh and btw, (You cant edit posts here, so sorry for double posting) - I don't starve myself in malta we normally eat at 12:00/1:00pm, then late 6pm-8pm.
My workout is generally, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 45/60mins treadmill a day. - and yes I sit alot, thats my problem I guess, but I can't do anything about that, I work on computers. |

Lonegirl is right,you need more protein....if you arent taking in enough decent calories per day,you are going to start burning muscle..which will lead you to NO energy,NO weight loss.... |

Iam being nice, iam not arrogant - Yes she is, but iam not good at these things, I mean Iam not really an expert on what has calories or protiens etc. or how much should I have etc. ;s

Iam going to try to move my workout after I eat, and see what or from where can I get colories and protiens. :) |

The starving has nothing to do with your eating at 12....I am talking about eating only salad throughout the day....do you have any protein in that salad (meat/beans/egg)? What is it comprised of? Where are your complex carbs (potatoes/rice/whole grain breads/pastas/oatmeal etc)...Looking at your diet number one I would say you need to eat more to lose more...I know it sounds contradictory but it is true.Pushups and sit ups are great but you need to add a few more exercises into your routine. From the sounds of it you don't have a gym membership so if you look here you can get a home workout plan made up that can help add some more exercise ideas into your workout....Added muscle means higher metabolism which means greater fat loss.

I see, - I take Tomateos, Tuna, Egg, with my salad. - I take potatoes sometime too. I take bread too (Limit though).

good work on the tuna and egg....Now do us a favour an write out at typical days worth of food....each meal/snack and what you eat.

Alright, at abt 12:30, I eat Tuna/Egg/Tomateos and at the afternoon, I eat Patateos and meat. in beetween(snack) maybe an apple, or yogurt.

Lonegirl if I eat 2 apples, 2yogurts, and make training after 12:00 after launch, would that be better? - and obviously, to gain the proteins (meat right?) and try to gian also the carbs (theres alot in sprite right? :s)

sprite = empty carbs
you need complex carbs... whole wheat foods basically your workout program and diet suck. do more research on the forums here.. read sticky posts. start there, then if you have questions post. |
