I am 14 years old (5'9) currently and i have lost nearly 50 pounds in the last year (175 lbs to 129 lbs). I still have a layer of body fat around my abdominal area as well as my chest area. Although, my abs are starting to become visible. I am just wondering how many calories I should be taking to in to keep losing that fat? If I use the rule of thumb about 10 x bodyweight that will be 1200-1300 calories. Is that enough to lose fat at 14 years old? If not, how many should I be consuming? Also, should I be lifting? Cardio? Thanks for all of your help.

being only 14 years old, i wouldnt suggest getting too serious with this. you are still growing, and dont want to impede that. its great you lost that weight, so just adopt a sound nutritional plan and a good workout schedule and things will continue to shine. save the calorie counting for a few years.
