Correct me if I am wrong but I believe Kaka means they will disappear when you are able to reduce your overall bodyfat %. Specifically reducing only one area of bodyfat (commonly referred to as 'spot reducing') is not physically possible. A clean diet and good exercise program is your best bet.
I just got love handles recently and I think it's because of slight weight gain and lack of back extensions. I'm back to doing more cardio and lower back extensions and it seems to be working.
