I have been trying to lose weight to be healthy for quite a while now using the ft site as a guide. I have changed a lot of my eating habits to fit more healthful foods into my diet. My problem is that, even with eating 3 "meals" and 2-3 snacks a day, I only reach around 1200 calories a day, where my reccomended calories are upwards to 2500. Is my low calorie intake preventing my body from working and burning the way it should??
YES!!!! If you are reading the posts here at FT, you will see that many people who are not losing weight are not eating enough. When your body thinks it is starving it will not let go of anything. Spend the next week adding 1oz to everything you are eating and see where that gets you.
