Hey everyone, this is my first post on this site, lots of good info. About a week ago I started low volume training, doing single sets for each exercise but working out more frequently. I do full body workouts on M,W,F but do one set for each exercise I do. I was training in the traditional way before, working each muscle about every 4 to 5 days with multiple sets for each exercise. Has or does anybody train like this and get good results or am I wasting my time? Should I stick with what I was doing before? Thanks

This is just another way of exercising and by all means, I would advise giving it a try if you've never done it before. This is called "circuit" training, which targets practically all muscle groups in a day, rather than "split" training where muscle groups are targeted on a single day.

You can also perform the 3x3, which is a variant of circuit training...except you only do 3 exercises (squat, deadlift and bench press). These compound exercises mainly hit most muscle groups and you can do them in about 20 minutes. More info. on 3x3 training can be found at www.deepsquatter.com. Just look for Stephan Korte's archives where he explains the system in more detail.

Good luck!
