Hi,

What can I do to make my lower abdomen firmer? That place below your navel? My upper abdomen has seen changes with crunches but the lower remains flabby. Any tips? I've no access to machines, just dumbells. And yes, I do watch my diet.
Thanks in advance.

Watch your diet more closely. The fact that your upper abbs are good and you have a little fat on the lowers says you are moving in the right direction. Keep doing what you are doing and tweak the diet.

Try leg raises, Roman chair leg lifts, hanging leg raises. All of these are great for lower abs. Of course, your diet is key. To see this new shape, you have to shed the layer of fat covering it.

Keep in mind that your Abs are ONE muscle, there is no lower or upper. Like BB1 said, diet is pretty much the one and only way you'll see the lower portion of your abs.
