you might wanna have a look at your form and the weights, you might be going to heavy
Always use proper form, even if it means you have to drop the weights

i did till i slowed down and really payed close atention too my form and lightend up the weight. my advice is to stay on the lighter side and read some of the post on squatin form and really think about it when you are going through the movements. this helped me a lot and i was able to gain on my squat faster when i learned the proper way to do it

Is it pain or discomfort? It is extremely important for you to learn the difference between the two. If it is discomfort then it is probably normal. I squatted heavy yesterday and had plenty of lower back discomfort. If it was pain I would have reevaluated what I was doing. So determine this and then let us know...

It would be pretty hard to distinguish the difference sense i dont know how discomfort would feel, but when i put the weight on and as im desending it feels tense starting on the 1st decent through out the rest of the reps my back feels like alot if it has alot of tension

I sometimes feel a discomfort. I wouldn't really call it pain because it doesn't really last that long, so I think it might be that heavy squats and being in that position with so much weight makes your back uncomfortable. But I think what you're feeling is different from what I feel. My discomfort occurs right after I put the weight back on the rack and stand up straight. It sort of hurts but it's more like a fatigue kind of thing I guess.

What you're describing is just discomfort of using heavy weight....I feel it everytime I squat on the first couple of heavy sets...that is as long as your form is good and you don't have any conditions....

Are you trying to squat straight down? Your soposed to lean over slighty.......your knees should be 90 degrees, but you can lean over a lil( at your hips) maybe 20degrees or so.
