Do you count the fat in oat bran cereal? (or do I just count the carbs?)
Do you count the fat in the whey protein shakes? (or do I just count the protein)

The fat is negligible...I count only fat that is more 'apparent'.

How much fat?

So your talking 54 calories in a day. I'd say that would be your call.

yup, ok....How about my pre-contest diet, should I start counting everything

Pre contest everything changes. All calories are at a premium. However, if it comes down to something like oatmeal which has a 'tad' of fat, no need to count it, just overall calories.
Fats will increase with dieting. You need to count your W3 intake more than anythting. A few mono's like a tad of olive oil, but even this will give in favor of W3's. Your other fats should be pretty much negligible.
