i just increased my cardio workouts from 3 times a week to 5 in an effort to lose more weight, but now my legs are always too sore from this to do any weight training, is this common?

also, when i do weight training, say i do a chest workout on monday, tuesday ill be fine, wednesday is when the pain sets in.

last question, i work on a fly in fly out basis in the middle of no-where and all my meals are provided, the problem is that its all mass produced crap, generaly you can see a thin layer of fat on top of all the dishes, the only other options for food is the overboiled vegies which i usually eat alot of, and the salad bar with the same combo of lettuce tomato and beetroot and occasionally cucumber, everyday. (these always sit there for 4 or 5 days before you get a fresh batch) has anyone else been in this kind of situation when trying to reduce fat intake?

That's a common problem and a common misconception. Go to the link and see what you're doing wrong.

I'm in a similar situation more than I care to be and there are always options. Protein powder can be taken anywhere - If you go through Qatar, just make sure you leave it in the original container though.

Is cardio keeping you fat?

Delayed Onset Muscle soreness if usually worse 2 days after, that is normal.

What type of cardio are you doing? I don't find that cardio makes my legs sore so much as maybe a little tired. I think it is more importnat that you get a good leg workout in than cardio, it will stimulate growth hormone and help you burn calories.

Skim the fat off as much as you can, stick with those veggies, get in beef or turkey jerky, protein powder, canned tuna maybe?
