mean people at the gym

jask Posts: 36 Joined: 2004/05/04	2004/05/13, 04:32 PM why are people so judgemental? its usually the girls who make catty comments. this one chick at my gym is like my size (but she has no boobs/ass so she thinks she's skinny) and she keeps making fun of me. like whispering and stuff. i try to ignore her but its gettin really annoying. people have confidence issues. i swear. everyone....be nice at the gym.

Ignore her, hit the weights and make her feel even more stupid when you rise above her level. And if that fails, get howdie over to sort her out :)

I've been the victim of letting little comments get to me in the past. Jask, its okay to let it bother you, but don't play into it and don't show this person it bothers you. The more you practice that, the more you'll begin to not let it bother you. jask Posts: 36 Joined: 2004/05/04	2004/05/16, 03:27 PM ya i know....its that whole "zen" technique. just say "its cool, whatever" to any comment she makes. then she'll just leave me alone. it turns out that my hunny knew her (they went to high school together). and she asked him out but he didnt wanna go out with her or something like that. so now she's just taking it out on me. how immature can you get? but she's not worth my time/effort. i'll just ignore her. i look better than her already and i got a hot guy. she needs to grow up and loose the attitude.

jask Posts: 36 Joined: 2004/05/04	2004/05/18, 05:51 PM serenity now, sanity later. haha that chick is also saying that i'm anorexic (since i've dropped a whole 2-3 pounds since i started going to the gym like a month ago). she needs her head examined. i could always just go to another location. i'm in between these 2 fitness world locations so i can go to either one easily. but that would be like letting her win. i aint gonna take it (no i said i aint gonna take it, i'm not gonna take it ANYMORE!) haha

And the mini WAS that short. If there was a mini at all, it was too short. I like the idea about a mirror being there though.
