Iknow this will sound silly...but I have a hard time meeting my calorie goal on a daily basis. I lift weights 3 x's week w/ cardio right after (25-30 min), on non- weight days I do circut training and cardio... I don't really get "hungry" but I know that in order to drop BF (5%) I need to eat... any suggestions to add calories...

Current Diet:
Morining wights/ cardio : Protien shake w/milk and Banana
Snack: Green Apple or Cottage Cheese 1 cup
Lunch: Salad w/ Ck or Tuna sandwich on Ezekial Bread w/ lots of veggies
Dinner: Grilled veggies & Protien ( ck, shrimp, talapia, turkey...)
Would love to hear some ideas...Thanks !!

Definately not eating enough. Need some good fats and complex carbs. Your meals are what I have for a snack!
Don't forget about Whole grains, nuts, etc.

Have the apple and the cottage cheese.
Have another snack - either another protein shake and some almond butter or some veggies and cottage cheese.

Your diet looks good, just a little low. How much do you wiehg? We can't tell yo hopw much to eat without that info, really. And how long have you been eating like this? It takes times for your body to give up fat when you change your diet/routine. Give clean eating a good period of time to work its magic, a few months and be consistent.

It also sounds like you are working out a bit too m,uch. Weights and cardio, then circuit training and cardio the next day? When does your body get to rest and recover?

As I said - have the apple and the cottage cheese at your second meal. You could also add in an after dinner meal of egg whites and veggies (omelet) or a low-carb protein shake.

Think of fresh vegetables a sfree foods - eat as much fibrous vegetables as you want. this will increase your fiber intake and help rev your metabolism. also, try to get in about 100-150 grams of protein daily. It looks like you are probably close to that, the snack suggestions will bring it up.

A little flaxseed oil or extra virgin olive oil on your veggies/salads will bring up your calories and your good fats, this will actually help you burn fat.

Focus on lifting heavy, in good form, basic exercises like squats, lunges, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder presses, pull-downs. Really apply your mind to it and get a good workout. Do these workouts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, do cardio, different types and intensities, on tuesday, thursday, saturday. rest Sundays. On your rest day indulge in a treat you haven't allowed yourself, like a scoop of lowfat icecream or some pizza.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
