I would bet your diet is a problem, your weight loss will come more from that than cardio.:)

There is no doubt about it...if you are 'maintaining' with your current energy expenditure, then your caloric intake is too high. EAting healthy, exercising, etc. is all good and will make you much more healthy for the body you are now in. However, if you want to change body composition, you must look to a caloric deficit to do so.

Speeding up your metabolism? my trainer said diet is a big way to help boost metabolism and MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST. Eat 5-6 smaller healthy meals it keeps the furnace at an even keel, if you eat sporadically or have a LARGE meal after basically starving yourself all day, your metabolism gets sluggish. When I tried the above tips...I lost weight and especially when I gave up SUGAR from the {6} 44oz Coke fountain drinks I was drinking everyday, oh yes I was addicted, I dropped 25lbs in a month just by eliminating all that soda, now I have just {1} 44oz fountain drink of Diet Coke and drink tons of water, which water also helps with weight loss.
Good luck,
Michelle
