how different is skim-milk fom 2% ?

I always hear ladies at work saying there`s more fat in 2% that`s why they drink skim-milk. But during the day I see them at the vending machine eating all that crap.

I hate the taste of skim milk, I`ve been drinking it for the last 2 years, but still can`t get use to it, so I want to know if that fat is good or bad.

thnx

The only diff between the two,is that 2% has a higher fat content. If you dont like skim, why not go for 1%

Per 8 ounces
Whole Milk - 150 Calories - 8g Fat
2% Milk - 120 Calories - 4.5g Fat
1% Milk - 100 Calories - 2.5g Fat
Skim Milk - 80 Calories - 0g Fat

I love 2%, and hate the taste of Skim, so I do the 1%. It's a great in between. Still tastes good, but less fat.

Skinny Cow has a skim milk out that is richer, tastes like 2% yet no fat. Might consider giving it a try. The chocolate by the way is awesome.

I love the Skinny Cow products.

I haven't even had a taste of ice cream in 3 years do to gallbladder problems, but when it's a special occasion my family knows they can buy the Skinny Cow sandwiches and I can eat them because they are made with non-fat milk.
