I feel like a truck has ran over me. I can not find the energy to do anything. I am eating a 1900 calorie diet I walk 2.5 mile 5 days a week, bike ride 2-3 times a week, and weight lift 3 times a week. I recently have felt terrible. This is my 5th week on the program and I love it...my mind is motivated but I can not seem to pull my body to do anything more than sleep. What should I do...I have been having a bit of an upset stomach as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

what kind of suplements are you taking? are you getting enough of your vitamins. are you depriving your body of carbs and or fat? you need these things. maybe you are just overdoing it. maybe you are bored. try changing up your routine. if you do all these thingd u might need to see a dr.

I agree with paulz. Check your vitamin intact. Low fat and low carb diets can greatly decrease your energy. Remember, a simple caloric deficit is the key to losing weight.

I am not taking any supplements at the present time. I am taking B complex, Q10, and Grape seed extract. My diet consists of three meals a day. The meals vary but by the end of the day I have eaten 8 servings of carbs, 2 meats or proteins, 10 fats, 2 dairy or milk, 4 vegetable, and 4 fruit. The help is greatly appreciated...I am starting to get a bit worried and any help will be greatly appreciated. I had a bit more energy through out the day to day but my lifting days are the worst. Thanks for the info.-Krys

Have you ever thought of getting a second opinion from another nutitionist? I know that you see one now by your previous posts. Does your nutritionist know the workout program you are on?

Go to your local store and get a good multi-vitamin. This could be a one-a-day type or a multi-vitamin pack. At least, add C to your intake. Earlier this summer, I did a six week workout cycle of two-a-days. Talk about draining! I took a multi-vitamin packet first thing in the morning before working out. About mid-afternoon, a couple of hours before my second workout, I took another round of vitamins that consisted of just one pill. This seemed to keep me going through the second workout. Drink a lot of water as well. Improper hydration can lead to the tired feeling. Remember, caffienated drinks do not hydrate!

Thanks so much for the input...Erin, the nutritionist that I am seeing at the present time does know my workout routine. I only see her every 4-5 weeks so that is where the problem has occured. The last time I saw her I was eating the 1900 calories and felt fine, but I was only into my workout plan about 4 weeks so I don't think that I gave myself enough time to really know if I was getting enough food or not. Thanks for the input I will keep everyone posted on my knew found success!!!

Sounds like you might be overdoing it a bit. Back off on the walking and biking. Are you getting 8 hours of sleep? Make sure you get that rest!!

Krystal, give us an update. Are things getting any better for you?

Krystal, if you haven't felt any better please try this: Eat 5x/day, every three hours if you can. Eat protein at every meal and eat no more than 300-400/sitting. Attempt to eat real food, maybe 2 supplements per day (ie. protein bar/ shake, or drink) It keeps your blood glucose levels regular and hormonal levels consistant. Good Luck!
