Ok I posted this in another area of the messege board and was suggested i post it in another more specific room for this.
Last week I started a 4 day a week training schedule, but diue to a major test on Friday I had to miss my Thursday workout. Now what I did was just incorporate my thursdays workout into my friday workout. Is that a good thing or should I have just skipped it and made sure i did it this coming week?

Forget about it Kane and keep on going. Yes you might work the missed muscles a little harder this week but nothing more. Good luck!

I would not reccommend combining the 2 workouts, I would recommend just taking a little more time on that workout this week, but never combine 2 workouts. Just consider it a missed workout, and go on. You may end up injuring yourself if you combine, or you may end up working your muscles too hard.

What if the 2 workouts involved working different muscles .. like the missed one involves, back and calves and the next days was chest and triceps?

Why not do the one you missed on the following day and just shift them all accordingly?

because you are messing up the rest time you need in between workouts. It is always safe if you miss a day, and everyone does once in a while, just skip it and keep on going with the routine.
