tonight getting home from work and not having dinner yet, nor my 5/6th meal. I decided to cook up some hamburgers. I could not resist having two! I am trying to loose weight but gain strength/size in the right areas. tell me this..
two hamburgers extra lean ground beef, grilled on a forman. veggies and lowfat dip. Would this be considered a healthy meal? and the burgers be healthy being its a good grade beet w/ fat taken out by grill?
Don't know if this would be considered spoiling my self or not.

I would not have a problem with this meal. As houseofdiet says, without the bun.

Yes to the bun. :-\ Yes to the onions! Grilled em too! and put some into the meat. Love red onions. Very yummy.
I am sure I could mod. this dinner to make it a bit more healthy. But what can I say, not treated my self in a while. When I went into my training about a month ago, went cold turky on a lot of bad diet foods. Also cut out fast food which was the best thing I could have done.

It's all a question about total calorie intake......
Of course one needs to eat healthy but if you want to loose weight try not to eat more than your body's daily calorie needs.
Another thing, everybody needs to cheat once in a while. Don't worry, it could have been a lot worse!! (o;

Try subbing whole wheat bread for the bun.

great idea mackfactor: I actually thought about trying that next time while doing my original post thinking about how bad the bun actually is. :) Would think it would still be very tasty.
