Hi everyone,
I'm new here, am looking for help and support for losing about 60 lbs, total. I have been overweight since college, then went on to have four babies in 8 years. I have lost the baby weight between pregnancies, but now I need to work on losing from this last pregnancy (and he is definitely our last!) 8 months ago, then work on the rest of the weight.
I get up before the kids in the morning and walk for 30 mins on weekdays, and take an evening aerobics class once a week.
I'm not ready to start restricting calories too much though, because I am still breastfeeding.
Any and all tips from moms on how to get in workouts with a very busy schedule are welcome! Actually, any tips at all are welcome.
I'm happy to be here :)

Hey there awill,
cute name :P.
Well, I'm no mother that's breastfeeding, but, despite your hectic schedule, I would suggest just cutting out unnecessary journeys in the car. You'd be surprised how positive short walks can leave you feeling.
Get some comfy clothes, shorts and jumpers etc to go walking in in the evening, of course, in safe conditions ^_^.
Don't restrict your calories, but make sure you're eating the right foods, because what benefits you benefits your baby.
Good luck and keep me posted :).

Hi Samuel_P,
I like your name too, one of my boys is named Samuel. :)
Thanks for the suggestion. The weather here is starting to get much nicer and walks are definitely something we can do. I have also started a food journal this week, for now I'm just trying to take an honest look at what I'm eating, and the journal helps me make better choices because I don't want to write down bad food choices!
Thanks for your reply!
