Just wanted to encourage anyone who is worried if once a week is enough. I have been lifting for about a year w/ no real improvement. Found this site and have been doing the Weight Loss & Toning workouts FT provides for about 9 weeks, myself wondering if once a week is enough for me. Well, I'm happy to report it must be because I was at the park w/ my kids and was able to cross the monkey bars with little effort! I can't remember ever being able to do more than grab the first bar and fall off. I am on my way to my goal of doing pull-ups! Thank you so much for this site and this community.

Yes, once is quite enough for strength gains. Congratulations on your achievement. I know that is something my wife also strived for for some reason, to be able to do pull-ups!! When she finally did she was so happy. You would have thought it was the happiest day of her life, (beside meeting me of course!)LOL....Must be a female thing!! Again, congratulations.
