This is the workout that I have seen people who want to be noticed do in my gym.
First they rack up about twice as much as they can do on a bench rack (bench is really the only lift you need I hear). Then they walk around it for about 20 minutes without actually lifting. Feel free to talk to anyone you know, or even don't know it isn't like they are there to work out. When they finally get to lifting they have one of their buddies spot them and basically do all of the lifting for them. They yell and groan as loud as possible and do about 6 reps until their spotter gets tired out from working so hard. It seems like they think they are pretty hardcore, so who knows it could work for you.
