I do not have access to a decent gym in my neighborhood.
What type of excercises can I do at home to achieve great workouts? It is hard for me to stay motivated If I have to travel to a gym that is out of the way. Also, it is a challenge for me to excercise at home with too many distractions. HELP ME!!!!!!!!

are you available to any equipment such as a bench or dumbbells?? I have a bench and weights at home for the same reason that the gym is to far away.

to not have the distractions,I just tell my parents to not take phone calls and not to bother me when I am working out. I turn the music up loud and block out everything. This helps me concentrate and lets me get the daily pressure out of my system. Lifting at home really helps me clear the mind and I have noticed increase in energy and just more of a reason to get our of bed every morning since I started and that is my motivation. And to get more motivated it doesnt hurt to see some good gains too!!

I agree lewdog...It is good to have some equip at home if you can. In my case our basement is a little to low to really make it easy to do it so I just have a few weights. I wish now since my baby has come that I could put in a few more pieces of equip. It would cost about what I pay for a year, but I still would miss the gym. All I can say is to stick to a strict schedule..get up and do it everyday them after a few weeks it will be a habit!

a good thing for motivation is a friend to work out with, someone to help push you.
