how much should I be avoiding MSG? It seems like it's everywhere and under many names (autolyzed yeast, natural flavorings, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, soy protein, whey protein,...). There are many other names and many websites that mention the dangers of MSG. Some are obesity, Alzheimers, Asthma, headaches, weakness, and many others.
How much should I be avoiding MSG? It seems impossible to avoid, though.
Also, how bad is it compared to partially hydrogenated oils (trans fat)?
