I just thought I'd share my embarassment with everyone. I know you'll all get a good laugh. On Wednesday, I went to the gym and had a great leg workout (my first one since having my son a year ago). Well, let me tell you... yesterday I was sore.. but it was the kinda soreness that is good (you all know the kind that I'm talking about). Today however, is a different story. I am so sore today...I can barely pick up my feet to walk. I've been walking around the office doing this weird sort of shuffle just to avoid having to lift my feet off the floor. Of course, everyone at my office has taken notice to this new walk of mine and I've been getting some strange looks. I'm just waiting for the questions to start. I have a feeling that today is going to be a very long day...

Well, I am laughing, but that's only because I've been there :).

Try rubbing your muscles with some lotion, dig in with your thumbs and try and rub the soreness away. Also warm baths - you can get muscle soak stuff but I'm not sure how effective and give yourself a good stretch and a pat on the back for a good workout.

Try soaking in your tub with some hot water and Epson Salt...it never hurts to take a little motrin either if it gets really bad!

Are you drinking lots of water? Week before last I had the same problem with my arms and started pounding water like there was no tomorrow, it helped alot.

Remember to keep them moving and stretch as often as possible!

Thanks for all your help/advice! I'm happy to report that I am good as new again. I made it through the work day on Friday (with not that many questions I might add)and just took it easy the rest of the day. With a little bit of stretching on Friday night and some rest, I felt much better on Saturday morning.
